  1. This is Debian's prepackaged version of Andrew Tridgell and
  2. Paul Mackerras' rsync utility.

  4. This package provides the rsync program, which is a replacement
  5. for rcp that uses the rsync algorythm to transfer only the
  6. differences between two sets of files.

  8. This package was put together by Philip Hands <phil@hands.com>,
  9. from sources obtained from:

  15. The changes were very minimal - merely adding support for the Debian
  16. package maintenance scheme by adding various debian/* files.
